We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager II to join our Cloud Infrastructure team. In this role, you will lead a team of six engineers, focusing on building internal tools for incident management and infrastructure automation.

Where you'll work: This is a hybrid position and requires in-office collaboration twice per week in West Hollywood, California.

You will:

Lead a team of 6 engineers to maintain existing and develop new tools to improve our incident management process and automation.
Identify manual tasks and develop tools to automate them.
Define and own platform objectives and key metrics, developing a strategic roadmap for your team.
Collaborate with cross-functional/platform teams to execute the roadmap, delivering high-quality results promptly.
Drive technical, design and product discussions with teams across the organization to define and scope requirements.
Establish the technical direction for the team and lead the team to achieve it.
Mentor and coach your team for career development.
Recruit and assemble a world-class backend team.

You'll Need:

7+ years of professional experience building scalable backend services.
2+ year(s) of experience leading engineering teams.
Experience with Python, Go, Javascript or a similar language.
Cloud platform experience: AWS, GCP or Azure
Proven experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer or a similar role.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to inspire and motivate the team to exceed expectations.
