We are seeking to add a Director of Procurement, Corporate & Professional Services to play an integral role in our Global Indirect Procurement Organization! The Director of Procurement for Corporate & Professional Services is an ideal role for an individual considered as a subject matter expert in all facets of corporate services and the associated procurement. The role will be responsible for developing and deploying sourcing strategies that optimize these services to provide Hasbro with a competitive advantage. The category as managed will cover all global spend by Hasbro and its entities in subcategories such as design, travel, legal, consulting, human resource services and information technologies. The role will work very closely with senior stakeholders across Hasbro and will play a key leadership role in the global procurement team. The role will be of critical support to multiple stakeholders and their associated teams.

 

A day in the life of a Director of Procurement, Corporate & Professional Services:

 

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies and category plans for corporate and professional services that support and align with Hasbro’s business objectives and marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams of analysts and managers from respective functions and/or external consultants to deliver cost savings through global and regional sourcing events, including providing executive updates as needed.
  • Pursue cash flow improvements through negotiation of payment terms.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure mutually beneficial terms and conditions with key vendors and agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with Hasbro procurement and governance standards by working closely with finance, marketing and legal teams across all global regions.
  • Work with appropriate teams to analyze (and monitor) all category spends to ensure maximum value and spend efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the category business teams based on spending patterns and supplier performance.
  • Manage supplier risk by ensuring selected vendors are complaint with Hasbro’s expectations for quality, compliance and performance. Track supplier performance to ensure performance is in line with the deployed category strategies.
  • Engage with regional and functional finance teams to improve spend visibility and tracking for all associated services across the globe.
  • Develop and manage a small team of subject matter experts.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the category budget holders and leaders both regionally and globally.

 

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in, economics, business, procurement, supply chain management or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience with a focus on indirect categories, specifically corporate & professional services at an international organization.
  • Proficiency in Strategic Sourcing best practices (e.g., category plans, market intel, competitive bids, negotiation planners, dual sourcing, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of sourcing platforms and contract management systems.
  • In-depth experience conducting sourcing events and negotiating complex contracts with a wide range of vendors and professional service providers.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in contract law as it pertains to contract negotiations with suppliers/service providers.
  • Experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies for assigned categories/commodities.
  • Proven ability to develop high performing teams.
  • Ability to work across geographies and time zones with business/process partners (internal and external) around the globe.


 

Compensation Range, Currency USD:
Starting Pay Range: $ 119,300
Pay Range End: $ 230,300
