Job Description

DevOps Engineer - I at Phenom, a global HR tech company, will design and implement configuration management using Salt, manage multiple Kubernetes clusters, and design CI/CD pipelines. You'll also automate tasks with Shell and Python, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and collaborate with engineering, security, and IT teams.

Must have:

Salt or Ansible
CI/CD Tools
OpenTofu (Terraform)
Scripting (Bash/Python)

GNU/Linux or Unix

What You’ll Do

Design and Implement configuration management with Salt

Manage multiple kubernetes(k8s) clusters in different cloud environments

Design and manage CI, CD pipelines on Jenkins(CI) and ArgoCD

Automation of routine tasks with Shell and Python to maximize productivity

Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure issues and developer challenges

Develop and implement IaC with OpenTofu (previous Terraform) on public clouds

Collaborate with engineering, security, IT teams

Work Experience

What You’ve Done:

1-3 years experience in Relevant field.

Proficient with DevOps paradigm and concepts

Proficient with Salt or Ansible and OpenTofu(Terraform)

Experience in Scripting (Bash or Python)

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins

Experience with version control systems like Git and Bitbucket

Experience working with GNU/Linux or any Unix-like Operating Systems

Knowledge of security in DevSecOps and best practices

Knowledge of observability and the LGTM, ELK stack

Knowledge of K8s, Docker and relevant concepts

Knowledge of public clouds like AWS or Azure

Knowledge of Networking and security concepts
