Job Description

This internship at Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg offers a chance to join the New Product Introduction (NPI) team. As a Data Engineer Intern, you will focus on streamlining product launches. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) data, collaborating with cross-functional teams on system optimization, analyzing data to identify trends and support strategic decision-making, contributing to IT tool and dashboard development, and solving complex problems. The role requires proficiency in Excel, SQL, and familiarity with PLM, ERP, MES, and analytics tools. The internship is a 6-month full-time position starting in January/February 2025. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or IT, possess a strong problem-solving mindset, and be a collaborative team player.

Must have:

BOM data configuration and maintenance
System transition and optimization
Data analysis and insight extraction
IT tool and dashboard development
Proficiency in Excel, SQL
PLM, ERP, MES, and analytics tool knowledge

Good to have:

Dashboard creation experience
Experience with data visualization tools
