About the Role & Team

We are looking for the Content Marketing Manager responsible for developing, proposing, and performing local marketing strategies and campaigns to promote our Disney+ Originals and the Disney+ brand in Spain!

We need you to have a strong passion for Movies & TV, a deep understanding of the Spanish content market. We are also looking for a shown potential to achieve results in a fast-paced environment, and experience leading large-scale marketing campaigns with cross-functional teams. Marketing Manager will work to influence and persuade both internal and external partners, securing approval from Disney+ and regional leadership on marketing plans, and coordinating project execution. You will also be accountable for further building franchises and fame for hit shows such as The Bear, Only Murders in the Building, Shōgun, The Kardashians and Welcome to Wrexham, ensuring they have a year-round approach, as well as taking ownership of the new season launches of these titles, and other original shows from FX, Hulu, ABC and Disney Branded Television.

What You Will Do

  • Original & exclusive content campaign marketing for Spain. Responsible for crafting and performing marketing campaigns that promote original and best-in-class content specific to the local market. This includes tailoring messaging and strategies to connect with local audiences, ensuring that the content resonates with cultural and regional trends.

  • Proposing and completing campaign strategy and planning. Design, suggest, and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for each campaign, ensuring that they align with business goals. This involves planning timelines, distributing resources, and running different campaign phases from conceptualisation to execution.

  • Coordinate the Disney+ Originals Marketing Campaigns and efforts with the Brand, Creative, PR and Original Production teams. Collaborate with all the local Disney+ teams to guarantee that all areas are aligned on the strategy for each of the handling timings, efforts and the different stages of the strategy defined, including PR actions, creative materials, Social Media initiatives as additional parts of the Campaign.

  • Content and creative research for the local market environment. You will conduct detailed research into Spain’s entertainment landscape, identifying content preferences and trends within the local audience. This research will advise marketing innovative decisions and campaign & concept development to ensure that the marketing efforts are relevant and engaging.

  • Helping to handle media agencies to develop and complete marketing campaigns. Collaborate with external media agencies, guiding them through the development and execution of marketing campaigns. This includes handling results, reviewing creative work, and ensuring that all initiatives align with the campaign’s goals and Disney+’s brand standards.

  • Support POC for the launch of global Originals in the local marketplace. Support the primary point of contact, launching Disney+ Original content in Spain, coordinating with regional and local teams to localize strategies and ensure the successful rollout of those across the region. Share local market amplification of regional campaigns for potential share and reapply and receive feedback to build recommendations on how to improve regional content campaign toolkits for the future.

  • Contribute to business and insights documents You will be involved in creating key business reports and insights summaries that advise your team and your leadership on the progress and performance of marketing initiatives. This includes developing actionable strategic and tactical plans, working closely with finance teams on budgeting and return on investment analysis, and keeping both internal stakeholders and external partners updated on campaign outcomes and next steps.

  • Brand strategy, research, and campaign proposals for Spain. You will support the Senior Manager in the development of a comprehensive brand strategy for Disney+ in Spain. This includes conducting brand research, developing detailed marketing proposals, and ensuring Disney+ brand is optimally positioned to grow within the Spanish market.

  • Brand positioning, segmentation, and strategy to Disney+ leadership. In coordination with Senior Manager and team, you will work on how Disney+ should be positioned and segmented in the region. This involves advising on the most effective ways to target key demographic groups and building a strong local presence.

  • In collaboration with the rest of the brand team, evaluate, propose, and complete brand-building opportunities alongside content marketing strategy, including social media and PR/events. You will identify and suggest opportunities to strengthen the brand in the country through various channels, such as social media, PR, and events. These initiatives will work in tandem with content marketing strategies to boost transparency and audience engagement.

  • Collaborate with regional Brand, PR, Performance and Social Media teams to leverage insights and findings. You will partner up with regional and local teams across branding, PR, and social media to share market insights, learn from regional or other countries successes, and apply those lessons to campaigns in Spain. This ensures that your local marketing efforts align with and benefit from other geographies strategies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficient in Spanish and English
     

  • Experience with Marketing content (10+ years) within the Entertainment industry (preferably SVOD), with a shown ability to generate buzz and engagement through innovative activations in marketing campaigns.

  • Proven record of delivering high-performing marketing campaigns on time and within budget. You have successfully planned, developed, and implemented marketing campaigns achieving measurable results. Experience running full campaign lifecycles—ensuring projects are completed on schedule and budget compliant—is critical.

  • Strong analytical skills and the capability to combine data insights with good judgement to drive decision-making and results. The role requires data analysis, interpreting campaign performance metrics, and applying market research to refine marketing strategies. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate the ability to make informed decisions by blending data-driven insights with personal judgement, resulting in successful outcomes. Media, creative agency and production team experience including writing inspirational briefs

  • Extensive experience in budget management and financial oversight for marketing campaigns. This includes experience in planning, allocating, and supervising budgets across various campaign elements, negotiating costs with vendors and agencies, and tracking expenditures to ensure efficiency. The ideal candidate should be able to optimize resources, demonstrate financial accountability, and deliver high-quality results without exceeding budget limitations
