Job Description

Compositor needed with 2+ years experience in live-action feature films, expert in Nuke, strong understanding of compositing workflow and eye for detail.

Must have:

Live-action compositing
Advanced Nuke skills
Compositing workflow
Eye for detail

Good to have:

Color matching
Light understanding
In-camera knowledge
Mentorship experience

Reporting to the Compositing Supervisor, the Compositor harmonizes all layers and elements to create the final and complete shot for live-action feature films. Working primarily in Nuke, they are responsible for continuity and understanding the full CG process.

Key Responsibilities

Establish looks and/or follow set style direction
Understand and follows production guidelines; solves design and/or effect challenges for key visual effects shots.
Receive and implement feedback quickly and effectively
Collaborate with other compositors to ensure shots are delivered to highest standard and on schedule
Mentor and advise junior compositors; share knowledge and techniques
Escalates issues as needed

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years live-action feature film composting experience
Intermediate to Advanced Nuke Skills
Excellent knowledge of compositing workflow; directory structure, file formats, naming conventions, scripts, automation tools, automated dailies etc.
Eye for detail, colour matching, light, understanding in Camera and ability to QA own work
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Ability to take direction positively
Ability to communicate in English and Korean
