Job Description

As a SAP Cloud analytics engineer at Google, you'll work with strategic customers on critical projects, providing management, consulting, and technical advisory. You'll collaborate with client executives and technical leaders to deploy solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), working with partners to manage projects and deliver consulting services. Responsibilities include proposing architectures for SAP products, managing cloud-based SAP solution deployments, and working with stakeholders to manage project scope and timelines. You'll advocate for customer needs, driving feature development, and packaging best practices into thought leadership. Approximately 25% travel may be required for client engagements.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
5+ years customer-facing experience in cloud solutions
Experience with SQL, data modeling, visualization tools
Experience in Generative AI, ML, or AI
Proposing SAP architectures and managing cloud deployments

Good to have:

Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
SAP or Google Cloud Certification
Experience with SAP technologies, architecture, and infrastructure
Experience with GCP and BigQuery
Excellent client-facing collaboration skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of customer-facing experience focused on translating customer needs into cloud solutions.
Experience with SQL scripting, data Modeling, and visualization tools.
Experience in one or more discipline areas: Generative AI, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science or an Engineering field, with Certification in SAP or Google Cloud.
Experience with SAP technologies, architecture, and infrastructure needs.
Experience in GCP and BigQuery.
Excellent client-facing collaboration skills.

About the job

As a SAP Cloud analytics engineer, you will work with Google’s most strategic customers on critical projects to provide management, consulting and technical advisory to customer engagements while working with client executives and key technical leaders to deploy solutions on Google’s Cloud Platform.

You will also work with Google's partners servicing customer accounts to manage projects, deliver consulting services, and provide technical guidance and best practice knowledge. Travel may be required for approximately 25% of the time for client engagements.

Responsibilities

Propose architectures for SAP products and manage the deployment of cloud based SAP solutions according to customer requirements and implementation best practices.
Work with customer technical leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver implementations of cloud solutions becoming a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for positive client outcomes.
Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development.
Work with internal specialists, product and engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies and published assets.
