Job Description

Tesla is seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician (Panel Beater) in Perth to join its groundbreaking Body Repair Program. Responsibilities include performing structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla vehicles (Model S, X, and 3), utilizing advanced tools and eco-friendly processes. This role requires proficiency in MIG welding, aluminum repair, and working with Celette Frame Jigs. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of experience in automotive collision repair, I-CAR Australia Welding certification (a plus), and a strong understanding of safety procedures. The position involves replacing body panels, suspension parts, and other components related to collision repair. Teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are crucial. Must have:

3+ years automotive collision repair experience
Proficient in MIG welding
Aluminum repair experience
Knowledge of Tesla repair procedures
Teamwork and problem-solving skills

Good to have:

I-CAR Australia Welding certification
Experience with prestige vehicles
Certificate in Collision/Body Repair

What You’ll Do

Perform Structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Model S, Model X, and Model 3 vehicles in accordance with Tesla-specific Repair procedures
Use Celette Frame Jigs for setting New Structural Components
Glue, Rivet, and Weld structural components being replaced
Repair exterior cosmetic panels via Metal Finishing and body filler
Replace all parts associated with collision repair including body panels, suspension parts, vehicle structure, Radiators, Airbags and Trim
Proficient in MIG Welding
Follow Standards and work in Teams
