We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Developer II to join our growing team. As a BI Developer II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with data modeling, database management, and BI tool development, along with a passion for turning raw data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

BI Solution Development: Design, build, and deploy business intelligence (BI) reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineers and other IT team members to ensure data is appropriately sourced, transformed, and loaded into BI solutions.
Database Management: Manage data models and databases (e.g., GCP,SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational and non-relational databases), ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance.
Data Analysis: Analyze and understand business requirements to translate them into functional BI reports that address business needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data scientists, and department leads to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Documentation & Support: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, process flow diagrams, and user manuals. Provide support and training to end-users as needed.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business Administration.
Proficient in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
Strong SQL skills, with experience in query optimization and stored procedures.
Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Prefer - Experience with advanced data analytics or machine learning techniques.
Prefer - Knowledge of data governance, data privacy regulations, and security best practices.
Prefer - Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
