We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Developer II to join our growing team. As a BI Developer II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with data modeling, database management, and BI tool development, along with a passion for turning raw data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

    • BI Solution Development: Design, build, and deploy business intelligence (BI) reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
    • Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineers and other IT team members to ensure data is appropriately sourced, transformed, and loaded into BI solutions.
    • Database Management: Manage data models and databases (e.g., GCP,SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational and non-relational databases), ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance.
    • Data Analysis: Analyze and understand business requirements to translate them into functional BI reports that address business needs.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data scientists, and department leads to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
    • Documentation & Support: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, process flow diagrams, and user manuals. Provide support and training to end-users as needed.

Qualifications

    • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business Administration.
    • Proficient in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
    • Strong SQL skills, with experience in query optimization and stored procedures.
    • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
    • Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Prefer - Experience with advanced data analytics or machine learning techniques.
    • Prefer - Knowledge of data governance, data privacy regulations, and security best practices.
    • Prefer - Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
