The Associate Manager, Analytics role at Samsung Semiconductor involves managing supply/demand forecasts, pricing KPIs for the memory industry, and conducting market dynamics analysis. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills to report findings to management, create weekly reports on key industry topics, and attend analyst meetings. Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, earnings, and other financial metrics to drive strategic business decisions, working with cross-functional teams, and developing valuable tools and metrics from vague requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (MS/MBA preferred) and 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor/hardware industry, along with expertise in data analytics and visualization tools.

What You’ll Do

Marketing Intelligence Group: MI team is responsible for analyzing market trends by utilizing various data points through technical and fundamental analysis and drive key business decision making for the memory business.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

  • Manages supply/demand forecasts, pricing KPI’s for memory industry utilizing industry analyst and internal data.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross functional teams within Samsung as well as Industry analyst.
  • Ability to utilize communication and analytical skills to conduct market dynamics analysis and report to management.
  • Report customer and competitor earnings analysis with key insights and factors to drive strategic business decision making.
  • Create weekly reports on key industry topics related to memory market and the potential impact to the company’s business.
  • Attend weekly/monthly analyst meetings and provide well written summary and analysis of key metrics.
  • Experience taking vague requirements and building them into valuable tools, metrics, or analysis delivering key insights to management.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required (MS/MBA preferred) along with 5+ years of experience in semiconductor/hardware industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze financial statements, earnings and other financial metrics and provide key insights.
  • 3+ years data analytics experience with strong technical skills in manipulating large data sets with complex Excel/Python and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Python).
  • Demonstrated ability in working independently and experience in managing stakeholder asks, expectations and managing relationships across various teams.
  • Outstanding data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication.
  • Familiarity with NAND/DRAM products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI/Server application is a plus.

Base Pay Range

$111,200 - $166,800 USD
