Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg seeks an Associate Factory Support Engineer to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end logistics processes for the Indirect Material Warehouse. Responsibilities include managing the flow of spares, consumables, and other indirect materials, ensuring 24/7 supply to all shops. This role involves process optimization, workflow planning, high-value parts management, automation, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment, proficiency in Excel and ERP platforms, and strong problem-solving skills. The position demands a fast-paced, team-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

We are looking for great talent to support our Gigafactory Berlin Indirect Material Warehouse team. Tesla’s Indirect Material Warehouse team is responsible for goods receipt, storage and delivery of spares, consumables and other indirect material. This team works daily with all shops to ensure 24/7 supply.

You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of the End-to-End Logistics Process. Warehouse, Intralogistics Material, Equipment Flow and innovation will be your playground. Hands-on, smart, fast pace. A team player with a passion for execution and continuous improvement would be a great addition.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, implement and optimize end-to-end processes from planning and procurement to the customer and back
  • Combine, merge, sync different value streams
  • Point of contact for central non-production hazardous material with end-to-end responsibility. This includes compliance and process documentation, sustainable risk assessment controlling and safety walks coordination
  • Planning, ordering and tracking of high value, high risk parts
  • Planning, monitoring and optimization of workflows
  • Performing preventive and reactive activities to avoid system deviations and discrepancies
  • Automatization of processes and reporting
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience (at least 3 years) working in a manufacturing shopfloor environment (Intralogistics, Material Flow Engineering, Manufacturing, Production), Supply Chain or Procurement
  • Highly proficient in Excel or similar spreadsheet tools
  • Experience in ERP platforms (MRP, WMS, TMS, MMS)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, multitask and prioritize appropriately
  • Ability to work individually and in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
  • The responsibilities of this position may change over time, this role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization
  • German and English language, spoken and written
