Location: Hybrid - Malta

We are looking for a responsible person who will make sure that our relationships with the most sensitive players are in line with what is required of us by the regulatory bodies. This person should have a passion for conducting deep investigations and turning over every stone to make sure that its fellow colleagues and the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) have a clear picture of the case at hand. The right person should know how to handle difficult conversations with ease and privacy, be meticulously organised, and be able to reason through evidence provided by the players and fellow stakeholders.

An integral part of this role is to have a problem solving mindset keeping in mind the company goals and ethos!

Responsibilities:

  • Following the regulatory and operational risk control standards as guided by our licensing bodies and internal policies.
  • Assisting in the implementation of our AML program with a focus on affordability and gameplay patterns.
  • Reviewing and approving Enhanced Due Diligence requested by the AML Team.
  • Monitoring player activity to determine whether all is in line with the internal AML Policy.
  • Monitoring Source of Funds and Source of Wealth procedures and enforcing them.
  • Carrying out ongoing transaction monitoring.
  • Investigating potential Politically Exposed Person or potential Sanctions List matches.
  • Assisting the MLRO with any ad-hoc reporting or tasks.
  • Creating internal reports of unusual or suspicious transactions and/or activities to be escalated to the MLRO.
  • Assisting in the implementation of our AML program.
  • Adhering to the written policies and procedures of the company.

About you:

  • Have at least 1 years experience working within the AML department of a Gaming Company or similar role in the regulated market.
  • Candidates with experience in a related field in the gaming sector such as risk and fraud would also be considered.
  • Proficiency in Dutch, Swedish, Danish or any other Scandinavian language would be an advantage.
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be a good team player.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of AML best practices.
  • A good understanding of Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism Regulations.
  • Ability to balance between business needs vs legal needs.
  • Ability to assess risk and how to mitigate it.
  • Flexible, easy going and a good listener who can take in ideas and make improvements.

So what can you expect from ComeOn as a place of work?

  • A competitive remuneration package including a company bonus scheme! 💰
  • Fantastic quarterly team events and weekly company events 😎

  • On top of our Hybrid work arrangement, up to 40 days a year to work fully remote from anywhere 🌎
  • Wellbeing allowance
  • A comprehensive, International Private Health Insurance
  • Breakfast at the office on Tuesdays
  • Lunch at the office on Mondays and Wednesdays

At ComeOn, we've embraced a Hybrid Work model, giving our employees the flexibility to work some days at home.
