Your mission:

Be the gold standard in the AAA shooter genre, where discerning players have elevated expectations for the subtleties that make a level truly iconic and unforgettable.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the art, audio, and gameplay teams to ensure seamless integration of level design into the broader game experience.
  • Utilize Unreal Engine to its fullest potential, optimizing levels for performance without compromising on the quality or player experience.
  • Collect, analyze, and act upon player feedback, ensuring that levels remain balanced, fun, and aligned with the game's objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in shooter level design, integrating best practices and fresh ideas into your work.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Unreal Engine, showcasing a strong understanding of its tools and capabilities.
  • A minimum of 5+ years in level design, with a significant portion focused on designing for shooter games.
  • A portfolio showcasing diverse and high-quality level designs, highlighting both conceptual thinking and execution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring levels are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of articulating design decisions and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • A deep passion for the shooter genre, understanding its nuances and player expectations.
