Overview:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing robust backend systems that support our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Spring Boot and other technologies.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL to manage and optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Implement and manage containerization using Docker for efficient deployment and scalability.
• Utilize AWS services for cloud deployment, ensuring high availability and performance of applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure code quality through best practices in software development, including version control, testing, and documentation.
• Leverage your experience with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) to optimize content delivery and improve application performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices within the team.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment of applications.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and best practices for cloud deployment.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, with the ability to apply them effectively in software design.
• Prior experience with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
