About the job/role

Reporting into the Regional Managing Director CEE, Nordics & Russia, this role will also work closely with other CPLG offices to develop regional retail initiatives for our IP. You will maximize sales of licensed products by our licensees by conducting efficient and effective promotional plans at retail and create marketing initiatives consistent with the brand strategy. Develop and grow CPLG’s awareness in CEE. The Retail Manager will handle cross – category promotions and support sales.

Job Description

  • Be the main retail marketing contact for brands and categories for the retail accounts in CEE.
  • Develop annual retail plans and activities, carries out, and locates initiatives of the licensor.
  • Execute retail plans with a key focus on realizing additional product placement and revenue.
  • Organizes tailor-made promotions and special events aimed at consumers.
  • Develop joint and cross-promotions between the licensees.
  • Management of various Marketing Fund spending.
  • Organizing and coordinating exhibitions, events, film previews, workshops and other meetings.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with retailers, licensors, partners and licensees (where appropriate).
  • Exceeding annual sales target across agreed properties and countries.
  • Responsible for daily contact with the licensor, report and consider all brand activities with the licensor.
  • Support sales in maintaining and broadening customer relationships to achieve sales targets.
  • Is aware of local marketing activities and trends (competitors, retailers and consumers) and collection of relevant market information, identifying market opportunities.
  • Continuously strive to identify and expand retail partners that have not worked with CPLG.

Qualifications

  • Significant demonstrable experience of marketing and/or retail, sales experience.
  • Knowledge of licensing is highly desirable.
  • An enthusiastic, independent, multi-tasker and stress-resistant person.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills.
  • A keen eye for detail, hands-on approach.
  • Good communication skills.
  • University education is preferred but not essential.
  • Good verbal and written skills in English and additional languages preferred
  • Good knowledge of MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Travel required.
