Position at DNEG

DNEG London is looking for an experienced Receptionist to join the team, representing the company and supporting all who enter the building. This is a fast-paced and multi-faceted role working on-site in our Great Portland Street office five days per week. Because of the nature of this role, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate remote/hybrid working for this position.

 

Job Description 
The Receptionist role at DNEG encompasses different responsibilities, from front of house, to event coordination and requires someone who is proactive, approachable and well-organised. The chosen candidate will interact with people of all levels within the business as well as external clients and guests, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and customer service to all.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting visitors, offering them refreshments and directing them to the right contact
  • Responsible for internal and external event planning and organisation - summer/winter party’s, internal client meetings, investor demos, department/show social events, company showcase, monthlies, private events 
  • Managing reception email inbox
  • Event budgeting and recording
  • Managing visitor access to the building
  • Managing UK based courier requests for WFH equipment
  • Managing external and internal calls
  • Managing booking of meeting rooms and screening rooms
  • Taking responsibility for overseeing the Reception desk and being point of escalation for Reception queries
  • Taking a lead role in suggesting ideas for process improvements for the Reception desk and front of house
  • Working collaboratively with the Executive Assistant and the PA/TA team
  • Helping to keep telephone lists and staff contact details up-to-date
  • Booking taxis
  • Acting as a fire warden during tests and in emergency situations

 

Must Haves
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to professionally represent the company
  • Confident, polite and friendly with strong customer service skills
  • An excellent telephone manner and experience of managing a busy phone system
  • Ability to multitask and remain professional under pressure
  • Experience of dealing with people of all levels of seniority within a business and external to a business
  • Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
  • Knowledge of Excel, Google suite

 

Nice to Have
  • Experience with a multi Tennant building highly preferable
  • Experience with event organisation
