About the job

SummaryBy Outscal

This role focuses on internal communication for EA employees, requiring strong writing, content creation, and video production skills. Experience with social media, brand creative teams, and analytics is essential for engaging multi-generational audiences.

Brand Communications and Impact

The Brand Communications and Impact team delivers business and purpose-driven narratives, stories, event experiences, and thought leadership to build trust and meaningful engagement with our diverse audiences of employees, players, media, investors, and communities in which we live, work, and play. We are deep practitioners and have expert capabilities in brand and reputation strategy, storytelling, employee/DEI comms, and social impact to drive audience engagement, advocacy, and business transformation in an unpredictable regulatory and geo-political environment. We build safe, scalable, and innovative event experiences that build community, deepen connections, and inspire fandom.

As part of the Employee Communications team, you will help to bring our EA Brand to life across the entire enterprise communications ecosystem, setting the standard for branded internal experiences and storytelling - whether that's through event experiences during our Global Town Halls, enterprise-wide communications channels and engagement campaigns, or conducting on-the-street interviews that bring to life stories about our people, culture, and priorities.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for developing creative content and storytelling for employees that is entertaining, human-centric, conversational, and authentic - and someone who is equally comfortable in front of and behind the camera. You will report to the Director of Employee Communications.

As part of your responsibilities, you will:

  • Collaborate with partners across the company to create original short-form content for use across our owned physical, digital and social employee communication channels
  • Develop, script, pitch and quickly bring ideas to life through collaboration with brand and studio partners, franchise social media managers, producers and designers to storyboard, prototype concepts and produce employee content that resonates with multi-generational audiences
  • Partner with our communications and technology teams to evolve our employee channels based on technology and communication trends
  • Support our quarterly global town hall, on-site employee events, and collaborate with our Franchise teams to amplify big moments in entertainment
  • Respond to employee inquiries and help manage employee communications channels (e.g. email inboxes, internal social channels, communications hub, intranet)
  • Manage our global employee communications roadmap and editorial calendar
  • Organize our team folder for efficiency and knowledge sharing
  • Set up tracking systems to capture information, insights and metrics to support communication, reporting and inform future communications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Branding, Journalism, or a related field
  • Writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple styles of communications (digital, visual, written, including presentations)
  • Experience working with in-house brand creative teams and creative agencies to develop culturally relevant, social content that engages and entertains
  • Experience creating social-first content and short-form videos like Shorts and Reels.
  • Proficient in editing tools and software across platforms to do content editing and curation when possible
  • Familiarity with tracking, assessing and reporting data to assess the impact of content to help influence future content
  • Proficient in presentation development
  • Project management experience
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to track and organize information
  • Experience managing projects involving prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Creative thinker and writer
  • Learning mindset
  • Familiarity with communication tools, software and platforms
