                        We are Vertigo Games, developers and publishers of big hit VR titles like Arizona Sunshine, The 7<sup>th</sup> Guest and the highly anticipated Metro Awakening. Our Amsterdam studio is gearing up to start development for a big new project and we are looking to recruit a Senior Gameplay Programmer who can aid us in our mission.<br>&nbsp;<br>Are you looking for a studio that celebrates creativity and sets the bar in immersive entertainment? Then we should meet!<br><br>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br><br><ul><li>Take ownership of a game feature implementation, working closely together with the tech lead to make it fit the complete codebase.</li><li>Analyze problems and debug them to quickly locate and fix challenging bugs.</li><li>Work closely with the designers to identify the technical constraints and create fun and engaging game elements for our triple A VR games.</li><li>Take performance into account so our games and experiences can keep running at a smooth 72+ FPS.</li><li>Use your knowledge of object orientation, design patterns, algorithms and data structures to program solid technical designs and efficient implementations of these game features and systems.</li><li>Examine prototype code and come up with production quality systems that are robust and can stand the test of time in an iterative environment.</li><li>Mentoring and technical guidance of junior and intermediate team members.</li></ul>

                            <ul><li>You have worked in the games industry as a Programmer for several years preferably with VR and / or mobile devices.</li><li>Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming, design patterns, algorithms and data structures.</li><li>You have created several projects using a game engine like Unity, Unreal or a proprietary engine.</li><li>A strong desire on working with new and innovative technology</li><li>You focus on quality at all stages of development and operation.</li><li>Commitment to writing clear, well-tested, maintainable, and extendable code.</li></ul>
