As a Vehicle Technical Artist at CIG, you'll be part of a team creating high-fidelity vehicle assets for Star Citizen and Squadron 42.  Responsibilities include hands-on implementation, performance optimization, rigging, skinning, asset markup, and supporting the vehicle content team. You will work closely with art and programming teams, develop and improve pipelines using tools like 3DS Max, MaxScript, and Python, and investigate new techniques. The role involves bringing ships to life through animation and physics tuning, and ensuring assets are technically sound for use in the games.  CIG has a reputation for creating complex, characterful vehicles that are more like mini-game levels, and you'll be contributing to their already impressive library of nearly one hundred ships.

Primary Responsibilities <ul><li>Sound understanding of the various component parts and needs of a Pipeline transmission system, including Mainline(s), Valve Stations, Scraper Traps, Jumpovers, Metering, Pressure Reduction and Filtering stations etc.</li><li>Solid understanding of, and ability to apply, the appropriate industry and client standards towards the Pipeline design.</li><li>Familiarity with and ability to apply the various construction methodologies for buried, covered, and above ground onshore Pipeline systems.</li><li>Ability to interpret and apply information from various sources/documents, including Topography, Geotechnical, Flow Assurance, SRA, QRA and EIA reports etc.</li><li>Sound understanding of and ability to Engineer/develop/update the following Pipelines related items/documents:</li> <ul><li>Pipeline Route Selection</li><li>LUP</li><li>Population Density Index</li><li>Crossing details</li><li>Calculations (Upheaval Buckling, Pipe soil interaction, Expansion analyses, Wall Thickness, Hot Tap, SIS etc)</li><li>SIS sheets</li><li>Data sheets and Specifications</li><li>Tie-in Index</li></ul>
