Job Description:

At Jaipur Rugs, we're looking for a dynamic and passionate Textile Designer (Creative) to join our team. This role is not just about designing; it's about infusing empathy, love, and compassion into every creation, embodying our organizational philosophy, values, and culture. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can translate their passion for design into captivating and culturally rich creations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the creative direction by researching and staying updated on the latest design trends and forecasts, and infusing them with our brand ethos.
• Collaborating with artisans and stakeholders to customize design colors and themes according to customer requirements, ensuring authenticity and cultural relevance.
• Drive innovation by developing sketches and sets of sample designs, pushing the boundaries of traditional craftsmanship while respecting its heritage.
• Harness the power of specialist software and computer-aided design (CAD) programs to create visually stunning and culturally significant designs.
• Continuously evolve by staying abreast of new design and production techniques, as well as advancements in textile technology, and integrating them into our design processes.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment by leading a team of designers with empathy, mentorship, and a deep commitment to our organizational philosophy.
• Embody our values and culture in day-to-day interactions with customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our organizational ethos.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in textile design, graphic design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, with expertise in sketch designing and fashion illustration.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of design principles, textiles, and fabrics.
• Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Previous experience in a leadership or team management role is preferred.
