As a Vehicle Technical Artist at CIG, you'll be part of a team creating high-fidelity vehicle assets for Star Citizen and Squadron 42.  Responsibilities include hands-on implementation, performance optimization, rigging, skinning, asset markup, and supporting the vehicle content team. You will work closely with art and programming teams, develop and improve pipelines using tools like 3DS Max, MaxScript, and Python, and investigate new techniques. The role involves bringing ships to life through animation and physics tuning, and ensuring assets are technically sound for use in the games.  CIG has a reputation for creating complex, characterful vehicles that are more like mini-game levels, and you'll be contributing to their already impressive library of nearly one hundred ships.

 Created in 2009, ESSP is a young and dynamic company, a pan European service provider, certified by EASA (the European Union Aviation Safety Agency) to deliver safety-critical services. Our mission is to operate and provide Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) services, among which, the main one is, the EGNOS service (the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service), on behalf of the EUSPA (the European Agency for Space). Ensures EGNOS Signal in Space performance monitoring, degradation events recording and analysis. If you are a good team worker with 3 years of experience in space weather, satellite, radio navigation and aeronautic domain., this is your opportunity! Your Main Activities Will Be Space Weather main activities: <ul><li> Operations, maintenance and evolution of the space weather monitoring chain to provide the service,</li><li> Technical point of contact with space weather product providers;</li><li> Coordination, in particular for handovers as a deputy of the space weather service leader:</li><li>Space weather situation monitoring/analysis of any potential impact in GNSS performance for aviation,</li><li>Exploitation of the monitoring chains results and third parties’ data/outputs. Advisory issuance when needed and space weather situation analysis,</li><li>Participation in the bimonthly handover with other global centres and provision of related materials.</li><li> Contribution to the coordination activities with other actors of the service,</li><li> Contribution to the supervision of trainees, work-study students, PhD students,</li><li> Participation in international workshops related to space weather in particular those addressing the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) service, contribution to the redaction of abstracts, articles and posters. </li></ul>
Main activities relating to the impact of space weather on EGNOS: <ul><li> Writing technical reports addressing underperformance events or EGNOS SIS (Signal in Space) related studies;</li><li> Coordination within the engineering team for more accurate characterization of the root causes of performance degradations;</li><li> Point of contact of the performance team to assess the contributions of the space environment on the EGNOS Signal in Space performance degradations;</li><li> Contribution to the development/evolution of tools to ease the analysis of the impacts of Space Weather on GNSS EGNOS SIS. </li></ul>
Profile <ul><li> Background and knowledge of space weather impact on signal propagation in ionosphere</li><li> Technical knowledge of GNSS technologies, knowledge of SBAS systems, (of EGNOS is a plus)</li><li> Knowledge of space systems operations and real time service delivery would be desirable</li><li> Experience in software development and data processing (Matlab/Python)</li><li> Strong autonomy and rigor</li><li> Ability to assume responsibilities</li><li> Showing initiative and synthesis capabilities</li><li> Good communication and reporting skills</li><li> Team worker and good coordinator </li></ul>
