Website UI/UX Designer and Developer (WordPress | Shopify | Kajabi)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Website UI/UX Designer and Developer with expertise in creating, customizing, and maintaining websites on WordPress, Shopify, and Kajabi. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills and technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Liquid (used in both Shopify and Kajabi). This role involves working on both front-end design and back-end development, including custom themes, plugins, and integrations, with a focus on optimizing e-commerce functionality and course-based platforms.

• Website Design and Customization:
• Design and customize websites on WordPress, Shopify, and Kajabi with a focus on UI/UX and responsive design.
• Implement designs based on wireframes, mockups, or from scratch using custom themes and templates for all three platforms.
• Theme Customization (WordPress, Shopify, Kajabi):
• Develop and modify WordPress themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Customize Shopify themes and Kajabi websites using Liquid for advanced modifications and features.
• Leverage Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create custom fields and flexible content layouts in WordPress.
• Back-End Development:
• Write custom PHP for WordPress to develop custom functionality, integrations, and plugin development.
• Customize Shopify and Kajabi themes using Liquid to extend functionality and build custom features.
• Develop and customize WooCommerce stores and Kajabi sales funnels and course platforms.
• API Integration and Custom Functionality:
• Integrate third-party services and tools using REST API on WordPress, Shopify, and Kajabi.
• Customize e-commerce features in Shopify and Kajabi, including payment gateways, shipping methods, and marketing tools.
• E-commerce Development (Shopify, WooCommerce, Kajabi):
• Build and manage e-commerce functionality for Shopify and WooCommerce stores, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
• Set up and customize Kajabi sites for course creators and coaches, optimizing sales funnels, membership portals, and user experiences.
• Website Optimization:
• Ensure websites are optimized for speed, SEO, and performance, across all platforms.
• Implement caching, image optimization, and code efficiency improvements to enhance performance.
• Version Control & Collaboration:
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development across all projects.
• Manage deployments and updates across WordPress, Shopify, and Kajabi websites.

• Front-End Expertise:
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks or libraries like jQuery for dynamic features.
• WordPress Development:
• Advanced experience in WordPress theme and plugin development using PHP.
• Extensive experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for custom content management in WordPress.
• Shopify Development:
• Expertise in Shopify theme customization and building custom features using Liquid.
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs for integrating third-party apps and services.
• Kajabi Development:
• Strong experience working with Kajabi for designing and customizing membership, course, and sales funnel pages.
• Ability to use Liquid for advanced customizations in Kajabi to enhance functionality and design.
• E-commerce Expertise:
• Proficiency in setting up and customizing e-commerce stores on Shopify and WooCommerce.
• Experience with Kajabi for building and optimizing online courses, memberships, and sales funnels.
• API & REST API Integration:
• Experience with API integration across platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Kajabi) for custom functionality.
• Performance & SEO Optimization:
• Proven track record of optimizing website speed, performance, and SEO best practices across platforms.
• Version Control:
• Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative project workflows.

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress, Shopify, and Kajabi development.
• Strong portfolio showcasing custom themes, ACF implementations, and e-commerce stores.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce, Shopify apps, Kajabi pipelines, and third-party API integrations.
• Experience working with Git for version control and deployment.
