Our in-house agency is currently looking for an experienced Visual Designer who will help create innovative designs for MathWorks’ Trade Shows, EXPOs, Conferences, and other Marketing Communication materials.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategically driven, brand focused, visual design solutions for North American and International Trade Shows, EXPOs, Conferences, Research Conferences, Advisory Boards, etc.
  • Work on an Agile team to coordinate strategic planning and execute on deliverables that support events
  • Collaborate with the creative director and visual design team to build a strong brand identity for MathWorks
  • Educate third party vendors on the use of event deliverables and review the assets they produce.
  • Translate business partner needs into smart, measurable creative strategies that differentiates MathWorks and enhances the customer experience
  • Build strong, collaborative business partnerships with key clients, colleagues, and vendors across the globe.
  • Establish design languages across events that reinforce the MathWorks brand
  • Create associated templates and guidelines for online and offline deliverables
  • Understand and utilize brand standards, project tracking applications, and digital asset management systems
  • Manage projects from start to finish
  • Have a strong awareness of design trends and innovations in related fields and continually consider how they influence our work

  • Proficiency in Adobe creative suite and Microsoft Office products
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable working directly with business owners
  • Minimum of five years' experience in design
  • Events and experiential design capabilities are a big plus
  • Experience working with brand guidelines and specifications
  • Strong communication skills and an eye for detail

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.
