SQL Developer

Must Haves:

• 5+ Years of professional development experience with SQL, ideally in a large-scale transaction processing or other complex system.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with different internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, specifically doing performance analysis and database maintenance.
• Expert with programming in SQL with T-SQL specifically – Should have experience writing complex code from scratch, creating stored procedures, views, tables, schemas, structures, etc.
• Experience with SSRS for reporting
• Hands on experience with ETL process

Plusses:

• PostgreSQL experience
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source control
• Experience working with an application in the supply chain/order tracking space.
• Experience working in lottery industry

A client of Insight Global in the lottery products and services industry is hiring for SQL Developer to join their Software Development Team! This company is a global leader in providing customized, end-to-end gaming solutions to lottery and gaming organizations worldwide and develops an array of products and services including instant lottery games, lottery gaming systems, terminals and services, and Internet applications, as well as server-based interactive gaming machines.

This team supports the development and maintenance of specific applications related to customer & retailer orders, packing, shipping, prediction, and other aspects of the supply chain for the company. The SQL Developer will play a crucial role in the team by analyzing SQL Server performance and maintaining the database, managing data imports, bringing complex SQL development skills and best practices, and collaborating with other team members to maintain a high functioning application. This individual should be extremely comfortable with both new development and maintenance, as well as have strong working knowledge of design patterns and clean coding practices. This position will be expected to work onsite in Alpharetta during the onboarding and ramp up process, and then can pivot to a hybrid schedule.

Compensation:

$115,000 to $140,00 per year annual salary
