Job Overview
As a senior vehicle artist, you'll play a key role in leading the creation of high-quality vehicle assets for various projects, such as video games, movies, or advertisements. Here's a detailed job description for this position.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Artists and the Lead Artist to help set the visual bar for our railway environments.
- Mentoring junior members of the Art team, assisting them with day to day best working practices and helping guide their discipline development.
- Creating realistic, high end quality vehicle assets.
- Modelling, UV mapping, texturing, rigging and animation of vehicles, alongside implementation and configuration within Unreal Engine.
- Collaborating with other members of the TSW team to deliver all required content for a Route / Content Pack.
- Following art pipelines, workflows, and performance budget limitations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design/ Arts, or related field.
- 4 to 6 years in the gaming industry.
- Shipped at least 1 PC or next-gen console title.
- Excellent professional knowledge of Unreal Engine.
- Ability and potential to create art assets to the highest standard.
- Expert in 3D Studio Max, Maya, Photoshop, and Substance skills.
- Experience in the mentoring of artists.
