Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for a highly skilled PeopleSoft Technical developer with extensive experience in the PeopleSoft Account Receivable module. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of PeopleSoft Account receivable architecture, and the ability to work with the other PS module leads in designing, developing, and supporting complex PeopleSoft solutions.

The position requires development skills and technical knowledge in PeopleSoft AR architecture, development tools and applications and environments.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Design technical solutions that align with business requirements and adhere to application architecture standards.
• Design & develop technical solutions using People Tools - Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Page, Application Package and Field Configurator.
• Proficient in PeopleSoft Integration Broker.
• Should be able to create detailed technical design specifications and other necessary project documentation.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of developed solutions.
• Engage with users and subject matter experts to gather requirements and participate in design discussions.
• Provide production support, including troubleshooting, fixing, and performing maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Peoplesoft applications, including production support and enhancement.
• Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and optimization of existing Peoplesoft applications.
• Stay abreast of the latest Peoplesoft releases, updates, and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with other developers, business analysts, business users and stakeholders.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or related fields
• 5+ years of development experience with PeopleSoft systems. AR is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with Jira software.
• Proven experience in documenting defect information, including analysis, steps to reproduce, and technical fixes.
• Experience with integration technologies, such as web services and APIs.
• In-depth knowledge of Peoplesoft application architecture, including People Tools, PeopleCode, SQRs, PS Query, Application Package, BI Publisher and Application Engine.
