Motion Graphic Artist

As a Motion Graphics artist at Jazwares, you do more than bring graphics to life. You use your strong creative background to create powerful stories that capture an audience and leave them wanting more. The motion graphics artist’s role is expected to execute dynamic motion graphics incorporated with video footage.

What you will do:

• Develop, create, and execute motion graphics for a variety of media including web, television, and multimedia campaigns.
• Assemble sequences using footage and motion graphics as directed, following a script or outline while also offering creative options.
• Input sound to enhance footage, including selecting music and voice-overs.
• Input graphics to enhance footage and improve/correct lighting, coloring, and faulty footage.
• Track the progress of assigned tasks using project management software.
• Attend meetings as scheduled to discuss team projects and revisions with external members of the company.
• Assist the video team with video shoot setup and breakdown, including unpacking and packing equipment.
• Follow all project templates as outlined by the video manager.
• Manage digital assets and optimize personal storage.
• Work closely with other team members to deliver a final product that matches requirements and specifications.

What we are looking for:

• Associate's degree in a relevant field preferred
• 4-6 years of experience in motion graphics creation in a production studio, advertising agency, or similar.
• Experience in the toy, consumer goods, or entertainment industry is a plus.
• Demo reel and or website demonstrating creative abilities and examples of past work related to motion.
• Strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of software (Adobe Suite with an emphasis on After Effects, Premier Pro, and plug-ins like Element 3D).
• Proficiency in 3D motion graphics with Cinema 4D, ie simulations, texture, and lighting a strong plus.
• Advanced level skill set in design applications such as (Photoshop, and Illustrator).
• Eagerness to move fast, take on new challenges, introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, grow, test, and learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong project management skills.
• Team player who can take direction and execute against it with little assistance, comfortable working independently.
• Effectively present ideas - both verbally and visually.
• Meet with clients, internal and external, to understand needs and share ideas.
• Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines.
