Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Manager to join our European Marketing Team at thatgamecompany, working remotely to help bring the magic of Sky: Children of the Light to even more players. As part of thatgamecompany’s mission to create meaningful and emotional experiences, you will lead and execute marketing strategies that resonate with diverse audiences across Europe.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our global marketing teams and external partners, bringing your passion for the gaming industry to design, implement, and optimize impactful campaigns. We are looking for someone with over 8 years of experience in the gaming industry who has successfully managed large-scale marketing projects and understands how to build lasting connections between games and players.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage marketing campaigns for Sky: Children of the Light in Europe, focusing on brand awareness, player acquisition, and engagement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies, including digital, social media, influencer partnerships, and event activations.

  • Analyze market trends and player behaviors to inform and refine marketing strategies tailored to local audiences.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, media outlets, and influencers to amplify campaign reach.

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of marketing experience in the video game industry, with proven success in managing large-scale campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of the European gaming landscape and player communities.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and time zones.

  • Passion for storytelling and creating emotional connections with audiences through marketing.

  • A deep appreciation for thatgamecompany’s vision of creating meaningful and uplifting experiences for players.

  • Fluent in English; additional European language skills are a plus.
