Assistant Manager Event Operations

Full time, Mumbai. India

We are looking for a dynamic team player to design and drive next practice Events solutions in support of our business development. The Creative Designer will be responsible for collaborating across internal departments and resources to develop innovative and integrated strategies and solutions to support the growth and expansion of our Events line of business. This key member of our team will work closely with the Sales and Operations Team to improve our client experience, by injecting flair, creativity and innovation, and bringing our presentation to life and keeping it consistent across all our various touchpoints.

Your responsibilities

The Assistant Manager Client Servicing is accountable but not limited to:

• Work closely with Sales, Operations and Technology teammates to support content presentations
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, conceptualize & design themed events that can include application to marketing / communication / promotional activities, exhibitions and communication pieces for print (brochures, posters), outdoor and digital media (electronic mailers, newsletters, web banners).
• Always looking for new inspiration and ability to work out of comfort zone
• Work onsite with the operations teams on events or projects as needed
• Engage in ad-hoc responsibilities and/or projects
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Mac Keynote, or other comparable presentation platforms
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently, remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities and mandates.

You posses

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred in communications and/or business management
• Minimum 3 years of Event creation and development experience, in the events meetings & incentives, conferences industries
• Travel industry and destination knowledge
• Minimum Three (3) years purchasing/meeting planning experience
• Excellent verbal & written communication
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships
• Ability to develop innovative and creative presentations using both Microsoft Office and other tools.
• Hands On Experience in softwares like Photoshop, Coreldraw, etc,
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
