Game Developer (C++/Unreal Engine Specialist)

We're on the lookout for a Game Developer! As a Game Developer specializing in C++ and Unreal Engine plays a crucial role in integrating the Server SDK and developing the core game logic for multiplayer interactions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability across multiple platforms.

You will work on Unreal Engine projects of our customers - typically game studios or VFX companies. Note that our work involves customer projects and not developing our own games.

What will you do? 🧭

• Work on customer projects (game server implementation, game backend, integrations, and multiplayer solutions).
• Develop and maintain game functionality using Unreal Engine with C++
• Integrate and optimize various AWS services and Server SDK within the game
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to refine game mechanics and multiplayer interactions
• Ensure the game’s performance, scalability, and responsiveness across multiple platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve real-time issues in multiplayer environments
• Implement best practices for source control management, utilizing Perforce and Git LFS
  
• Communicate the progress with our customers (Game Studios, VFX, Virtual Production)

Must haves 🔥

• Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with Unreal Engine development
• Understanding of multiplayer game development principles and network optimization
• Experience with source control management, particularly Perforce and Git LFS
• Familiarity with the peculiarities of game lifecycle and real-time issues in multiplayer games
• Great command of the English language both in verbal and written form
