Project cost controller - Civil Constructions

We are searching for a skilled Project Cost Controller to join our Civil Constructions team in Hyderabad or Coimbatore. You will be responsible for providing guidance to project teams, analyzing project performance, and ensuring accurate cost reporting. Strong experience in cost management, budgeting, and forecasting is essential, along with expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM).

 Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Provide guidance to project teams on issues, lessons learned, and tool adoption, ensuring</li><li>accurate and timely project metrics.</li><li>Collaborate with Operations and Finance to enhance financial forecasting accuracy.</li><li>Analyse project performance and reporting trends, communicating key metrics.</li><li>Deliver regular project status updates, recommending corrective actions to meet cost and</li><li>timeline goals.</li><li>Ensure project-specific tracking, forecasting, and cost reporting.</li><li>Manage project cash flows and update forecasts throughout the project lifecycle</li><li>Specialised extensive experience in project controls having direct accountability for cost and</li><li>forecast management, cost, change and contingency controls, budgeting and reporting for</li><li>projects and programs</li><li>Generating reports to identify projects that are above budget</li><li>Reviewing generated report of the project Labour and material costs Vs estimated</li><li>costs to report exceptions to divisional managers</li></ul>
 Required Knowledge and Experience <ul><li>Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.</li><li>Proven experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.</li><li>Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).</li><li>Leadership and team-building abilities with strong relationship skills.</li><li>Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.</li><li>Expertise in project control tools and reporting systems.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.</li><li>Strong financial acumen with analytical problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Familiarity with PMBOK and industry standards.</li><li>Detail-oriented and customer-centric approach.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other project controls software.</li></ul>
