JOB DESCRIPTION
 
 
Ionik is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team. The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of several corporate entities, which include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Activities/Financial Close process, and Expense Report Management. You will be responsible for month-end closing, financial reporting, and audits as well as other projects.
 
The Accounting Manager role is remote and will report to the VP, Revenue &amp; Accounting.
 
Essential Responsibilities:
 
<ul>
<li>Lead the month-end/year-end closing process across several corporate entities.</li>
<li>Prepare journal entries during month-end</li>
<li>Review and approve AP/AR</li>
<li>Analyze monthly fluctuations across the balance sheet and P&amp;L</li>
<li>Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP</li>
<li>Perform analytical procedures including budgets vs actuals and variance analysis</li>
<li>Timely research and resolution of reconciling items with exceptions reported to management for review and consultation</li>
<li>Lead annual expense budget</li>
<li>Assist with the annual audit</li>
<li>Lead preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages</li>
<li>Provide support to management as needed, including ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance</li>
<li>5+ years of professional accounting experience</li>
<li>Strong General Ledger knowledge</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP</li>
<li>Prior experience with company who engaged in annual audits.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to multitask</li>
<li>Proficiency with Oracle NetSuite a plus</li>
</ul>
