What you will do: <ul><li>Work with business analysts, product managers to translate functional specifications into a thorough set of test cases, define integration, regression tests to align with product release cycles.</li><li>Continue to work closely with the development teams throughout the software development life cycle to capture additional test scenarios and acceptance criteria covering both functional and non-functional requirements.</li><li>Design, develop manual &amp; automation tests using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.</li><li>Execute manual &amp; automated tests, analyze the test results and log detailed reports for any bugs found into the defect tracking system.</li><li>Provide subject matter expertise in quality engineering, mentor junior QA engineers, determine best practices and promote them across the team and organization.</li><li>Provide timely and accurate reports to business stakeholders and help them ascertain the severity and priority of reported issues.</li><li>Identify opportunities for automating test cases, workflows and implement automation solutions and analyze results.</li><li>Analyze current test processes, perform gap analysis and drive improvements.</li><li>Ensure test repositories are kept up to date by adding and updating tests, ensuring compliance from team members.</li><li>Ensure test management procedures are being followed and take corrective actions where needed.</li><li>Help in determining best practices and promote them across the team and organization.</li><li>Participate in UAT by assisting end users in troubleshooting, replicating and facilitating resolution for issues found during testing, and validating any fixes required.</li><li>Facilitate coaching and training for non-QA team members regarding quality processes.</li><li>Demonstrate willingness to work on your craft and take initiative in learning new skills.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
 What we’re looking for: <ul><li>7+ years of experience in hands on manual and automation testing of enterprise products.</li><li>Scripting/programming experience (C#, Python or Java)</li><li>Understanding of web applications, REST APIs and databases.</li><li>Experience in developing and executing maintainable manual/automation tests for acceptance, functional, regression test cases.</li><li>Experience in defining quality metrics to measure product quality.</li><li>Ability to communicate and coordinate formal test plans, test scenarios, test cases and use cases across globally distributed teams.</li><li>Experience in defining and implementing quality processes throughout the release cycle.</li><li>Experience in troubleshooting issues, problem resolution and risk analysis for product deployment.</li><li>Experience in training team members on quality standards and processes.</li><li>A strong problem solver with an excellent work ethic and attitude</li><li>An eye for detail and the capability to empathize with the product user's perspective.</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Team player with a “can-do” attitude, growth mindset towards learning new skills and willingness to take ownership and accountability.</li></ul>
Bonus Points: <ul><li>Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects</li><li>Experience with running and analyzing data from automated tests.</li><li>Experience with tools like JMeter, Selenium, Microsoft Playwright etc. for developing stress and automated tests.</li><li>Prior programming and scripting experience with .NET/Python/Java.</li><li>Relevant certifications if any.</li></ul>
 Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
