Nike seeks a Sr. Designer for Store Design, who will support consumer led global retail concepts and the evolution of the Nike retail business. They will create and develop impactful / scalable design solutions for immersive retail enviroments. This designer will collaborate with internal and external design teams to complete individual projects by leveraging design processes and best practices to ensure the creative intent, design deliverables, timelines and budgets are met. We are looking for someone who shares our drive and agility to explore the new; who is passionate and determined to create boundary-breaking experiences.<br>

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
<br>
<ul><li>If this is you, you will create, refine and evolve the enviroemntal design components across the full Nike stores portfolio. This postion requires a forward thinking, detail oriented design minded creative, that builds from the global creative direction for design development and generates implementation standards for consistent execution throughout projects. You will work independently and with a team to develop and manage all architectural and 3D environmental components, factoring in the needs of the Consumer, the Brand and our Buisness partners. You will communicate and present design concepts to the Sr. Design Design Director, create 3D models, 2D drawings, presentations and details that effectively communicate design intent, as well as produce project production files when required</li><li>
Supports and partners with Global Retail Design Sr Creative Director and Design Director to lead project vision.</li><li>
Lead a design process of clear ideation. Focusing on exploration of color, materiality, texture, spacing, proportion, scale and use of the environment.</li><li>
Ensures project goals and priorities align with Nike retail brand and business strategies.</li><li>
Develops presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts to all levels of leadership and partners.</li><li>
Collaborate with peers, design counterparts, internal partners (Brand, Retail Brand, Brand Creative, Digital, Brand Comms etc.) and external partners to ensure feasibility of designs and functional needs are met.</li><li>
Actively gain knowledge and experience regarding Nike's design ethos, the Nike matrix, products and processes.</li><li>
Drives education and inspiration, sharing knowledge and exposure to current and future trends influencing the innovation of consumer experiences and technology.</li><li>
To be a collaborator working across project teams and retail design org.</li><li>

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Under the direction of a Design Director, you will collaborate in the development of innovative retail programs<br>
that reflect Nike's design ethos and enhance the consumer retail experience. You will deliver thoughtful design<br>
solutions that meet the business and creative requirements to elevate Nike's product storytelling, service and<br>
display needs. In this role, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across Nike as well as external<br>
design partners, fabrication agencies, store design and marketing teams.<br>

WHAT YOU BRING
<br>
<ul><li>Minimum of 7+ years of progressive, technically sophisticated design experience in architectural, experiential or brand design and a demonstrated ability to apply these skills in ways that elevate brand excellence.</li><li>
Bachelors/master's degree in, architecture. Or environmental design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
Showed strength in operating in a design studio in the delivery of progressively complex projects of scale, budget, and size.</li><li>
Proven track record of good judgment and ability to contribute meaningfully to the determination of policy and strategy.</li><li>
Proven track record of managing ambiguity, and effectively collaborating in the creation process.</li><li>
Tried expert in applying and performing design skills, including concepting, drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, texture, and spatial design in scale, visual presentation development and space planning layouts.</li><li>
Proven ability to work independently as well as guide teams across a mix of complex projects.</li><li>
Knowledge of and sensitivity to current trends in color, design, art, photography and experience design and their application to the athletic industry.</li><li>
Expert oral and written communication and presentations skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations to senior management.</li><li>
Ability to work cooperatively across streams and territories to share ideas and develop effective responses.</li><li>
Proven ability to work in a constantly evolving, high-growth environment.</li><li>
Positivity and eagerness to do great work in a team environment</li><li>
