Job Summary The Test Engineer II is primarily responsible for the overall quality assurance of the software applications developed and hosted by EB Admin Tech. Primary responsibilities will focus on writing test cases against requirements and developing/running manual tests. The Manual QA Engineer would also be responsible for API testing. Duties/Responsibilities <ul><li>Develop, maintain, and execute test cases / suites / plans.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases.</li><li>Analyze, document, and track defects.</li><li>Define testable acceptance criteria.</li><li>Actively participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies.</li><li>Conduct peer reviews and assist other team members in implementing coding best practices.</li><li>Execute API tests.</li><li>Analyze, document, and track processes and workflows.</li><li>Conduct peer and code reviews.</li><li>Identify resources needed for testing activities.</li><li>Perform release testing responsibilities and participate in go-lives.</li><li>Guide project test team members.</li><li>Prepare reports on all aspects related to software testing within project teams.</li><li>Interact with leadership to ensure process optimization and delivery of quality results.</li><li>Help to define and implement software testing strategy within project teams. Help to identify and monitor key performance indicators related to software testing for both individuals and their projects.</li><li>Present and help to lead discussions during QA roundtables and other meetings.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of software testing practices, including test planning and defect management.</li><li>Ability to identify issues in documentation such as ambiguity, redundancy, omission, and inconsistency.</li><li>Ability to perform live demos to the team, management, and stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA). </li></ul>
Required Skills &amp; Attributes <ul><li>4+ years of experience.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent certification.</li><li>Expertise in test architecture, including custom automated test frameworks, Selenium Framework (C# with SpecFlow preferred), and API testing.</li><li>Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum, test design, SQL for data verification, code quality assurance, and diverse testing methodologies.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to guide and mentor test teams and collaborate effectively with various levels of leadership.</li><li>Knowledge or background in health &amp; welfare plan administration is a plus.</li><li>Milliman AP professional designation (within 12 months, if hired externally). </li></ul>
Required Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience</li><li>4+ years of experience in preparing and executing manual test scripts </li></ul>
