 Job Description: Mako IT Lab is seeking a skilled and versatile 3D Generalist Artist to join our creative team. As a 3D Generalist, you will be responsible for creating 3D assets, animations, and visual elements that bring our projects to life. Your work will span various aspects of the 3D art pipeline, including modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and animation. This role is ideal for a candidate with a passion for creating visually stunning and immersive 3D content across a variety of platforms. Key Responsibilities:1. 3D Modeling: Create high-quality 3D models of characters, objects, environments, and props using industry-standard software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).2. Texturing: Apply textures and materials to 3D models to achieve realistic or stylized visual effects.3. Animation: Develop 3D animations for characters and objects, including rigging, keyframe animation, and character animations.4. Lighting and Rendering: Set up lighting and render scenes to achieve desired visual quality and effects.5. Asset Optimization: Optimize 3D assets to ensure performance and compatibility across different platforms and hardware.6. Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including artists, designers, and developers, to integrate 3D assets seamlessly into our projects.7. Problem Solving: Identify and address technical and artistic challenges in 3D asset creation, striving for creative solutions.8. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure that all 3D assets meet project specifications and visual standards.9. Stay Current: Stay updated on industry trends and technologies in 3D art and graphics to bring innovative solutions to the team. Qualifications:- Proven experience as a 3D Generalist or similar role in the game development, animation, or related industry.- Proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering using industry-standard software.- Knowledge of animation techniques and rigging.- Understanding of optimization techniques for real-time applications.- Creative and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.- Portfolio showcasing a range of 3D work demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and versatility.- Bachelor's degree in 3D art, computer graphics, or a related field is a plus. Preferred Skills (not required but a plus):- Basic knowledge about game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
