Based in our Derry office, the new HR Officer will help with the smooth operation of the HR function within the Studio. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties and help manage day-to-day HR admin tasks as part of the Talent (People &amp; Culture) team. You will show drive and commitment to deliver consistent results working alongside the HRBP’s and Global Talent Director. As a highly discreet individual, you will understand the importance of handling sensitive data and ensure confidentiality and data quality is completely maintained.&nbsp;
 
Who you are:
<ul>
<li>You are an excellent communicator and are passionate about working across disciplines and timezones to deliver work aligned to the studio’s goals.</li>
<li>You can effectively triage queries; and escalate more serious issues to the HRBPs whilst have the ability to build strong relationships across the Studio.</li>
<li>You have excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle high volume tasks to deadlines.</li>
<li>You can work on multiple tasks &amp; projects.</li>
<li>You are a creative problem solver, finding ways to support team members and bring a positive focus to remove obstacles when possible.</li>

Some of your role:
<ul>
<li>You will be a first point of contact for HR queries and have a strong knowledge of HR policy.</li>
<li>You will support the HRBPs and Global Talent Director in an administrative capacity, to ensure the smooth running of the HR team.</li>
<li>You will coordinate the Onboarding experience for new joiners.</li>
<li>You will support the Finance team as needed with salary and new joiner related queries.</li>
<li>You will maintain HR systems and provide reports as needed.</li>
<li>You will support team members with HR systems as needed.</li>
<li>You will support various HR Projects.</li>

Essential traits:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience as an HR Officer - ideally within gaming/software/digital or media industry.</li>
<li>Strong technical ability in IT systems ie: G-Suite or MS Office.</li>
<li>Previous experience in handling sensitive data and ensuring confidentiality and data quality is 100% maintained.</li>
<li>The ability to work in a fast paced and remote start-up environment with a willingness to learn.</li>
<li>Proactive approach and able to work on own initiative with strong organisational and communication skills.</li>
