We are currently hiring a Computer Engineer to join our Sterling Heights, MI team to support development of advanced ground vehicle technologies for manned and unmanned platforms for the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC).
<br><br>
<b>Essential Job Functions:</b><br>
Architecture and development of Unreal Engine Virtual Environments.
<br>Support WMI integration with Unreal Engine Virtual Environments.
<br>Use Qt framework to develop Warfighter Machine Interface (WMI) software.
<br>Support WMI integration onto tactical ground vehicles.
<br>Support integration of externally developed software and hardware with WMI.
<br>Work in a team environment with our Army customer, DCS Engineers, and other partners.
<br>Position will require occasional travel to support test and integration events.
<br><br>
<b>Required Skills:</b><br>
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
<br>Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
<br>Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar with 5 years of experience is required.
<br>Experience with Head / Helmet Mounted Displays (HMDs)
<br>Experience with C++, Unreal 4/5, Qt, and collaborative version control platforms (ex. GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket).
<br>Experience with software development in Windows. Linux, and Android environments.
<br>Excellent written and oral communications skills.
<br><br>
<b>Desired Skills:</b><br>
Experience with Agile software development.
