We are looking for an Operations Manager for Amazon Luna to drive Game Catalog Certification which is responsible for shaping the future of gaming
<br><br>
You will drive and implement new quality initiatives, establish new testing methods and processes for game testing, find ways to leverage and scale to deliver without compromising quality and efficiency, establish quality metrics and best practices for the team. You will lead the team by example as a quality leader who is customer obsessed, thinks big and delivers result without compromising the quality. To do this, you will have the most advanced tools at your disposal; however, we expect you to bring new ideas and innovation to build/leverage as needed. You will be responsible for looking to the future and identifying what the team will need to test experiences that were not thought possible today.

Key job responsibilities

<li>Be obsessed with quality improvement and highly committed to building and retaining a solid QA / DA team, creating reliable testing strategy, automation for regression, feature and End-to-End testing.</li>
<li>Work with product management and cross-functional teams to build and ship technical solutions for the best customer experiences</li>
<li>Establish structures that enable your team to solve complex problems and deliver large systems</li>
<li>Work successfully with customers, leaders, and other engineering teams. You foster constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues</li>
<li>Provide hands-on technical leadership to the team, test plan reviews, and prioritization</li>
<li>Advise senior and executive management on product quality</li>
<li>Manage team priorities, headcount projections, recruiting, and continuous performance evaluations</li>

A day in the life
<br>As an Operations Manager, you will build and lead a diverse team of Device Associates / QATs to solve technical problems, develop and execute roadmap of test frameworks &amp; infrastructure.You will be working with an assorted set of stakeholders, both internally at Amazon, and with some of our partners. You will influence the roadmap and technology decisions that will drive future products and features that directly affect our growth in this critical space. A successful candidate is a motivator and an experienced leader who can hire high-caliber engineers and collaborate across matrices organizations, with the ability to influence senior leadership.

<li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning or equivalent quantitative field</li>
<li>Deep hands-on technical expertise.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals.</li>
<li>Strong business and technical vision.</li>
<li>Experience in Games Industry (supporting game testing and release management)</li>

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125,100/year in our highest geographic market.
