Certified Trainer & Content Developer

Altium seeks a Certified Trainer & Content Developer to create and deliver engaging training on their products. Must have experience with Altium products, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.  Experience in technical training and video production is a plus.

About the Opportunity: The Certified Trainer and Content Developer is a member of the Altium Training group responsible for the creation and delivery of industry-leading instruction on Altium’s products. The training is aimed at enabling customers to fully utilize our product features and capabilities with best practices. Customer training is integral to the success and long-term growth of Altium through engaging technical training using various media formats. We are looking for an individual with a passion for delivering technical training as well as content development and verification. Must be able to train customers with a high level of professionalism while demonstrating tool proficiency. Abilities to capture training course videos and audio recordings from existing training course materials. In addition, will provide course material updates and maintain existing written training materials. Be able to work with limited supervision in the development of course materials. A Day in The Life of Our Certified Trainer and Content Developer: <ul><li>Instruct Altium customers by using Altium training content.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of all training content provided to customers.</li><li>Must be able to develop and update training content, including scripts, video storyboards, and project examples, and independently create technical video series.</li><li>Collaborate with internal departments for new product features and development.</li><li>Provide mentorship for internal and external trainers. </li></ul>
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position: <ul><li>Fluency in spoken and written English.</li><li>Experience with Altium products, ideally Altium Designer.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Oration and Technical Writing).</li><li>Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Optional: 1+ years previous experience as a Technical Trainer, both Face to Face and live web-based</li><li>Optional: CID, CID+ certification</li><li>Optional: Fluency in additional European languages is a plus </li></ul>
