Your Team, Your Impact
The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) group works on high performance network connectivity devices that are critical to data center and AI clustering applications, and is responsible for ensuring the quality of firmware/software releases, by performing regular functional regression tests on firmware/software release candidate packages.What You Can Expect
The engineer will be responsible for the verification of APIs and firmware, covering low-level device configuration and control algorithms.
Learn about functional operations of high speed (>= 1.6 Tb/s) networking PHYs, optical modules, and other high performance connectivity devices
Understand product/feature requirements and usage models, to design test plans in collaboration with other engineering teams
Develop and execute test scripts
Collect/maintain/visualize/interpret test outcome/data
Generate bug tickets and regression reports
Work closely with other engineering teams to diagnose and resolve firmware/test issues
The SQA engineer will also build software infrastructure and automation environments to help the team collectively accomplish the above tasks efficiently and effectively
Responsibilities include verification tasks, test plan definition from specs, implementing automated test cases, white-box testing, black-box testing, building and maintaining regressions benches
What We're Looking For
BS in computer science, electronics engineering, or related discipline.
Solid knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts.
Fluency programming in Python.
Basic knowledge of embedded devices programming languages such as C, C++.
Familiarity with embedded systems and real time operating systems.
Working knowledge of revision control systems such as Git or SVN.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate and work closely with other area development teams such as hardware and applications.
Ability to communicate in spoken and written English with teams in other geographical locations.
