IO Interactive seeks a Technical Designer for their new James Bond game, Project 007. This role involves implementing reusable environmental interactions and items using the Glacier engine, collaborating with Level Designers to create memorable experiences, and maintaining design documentation. The ideal candidate possesses AAA game industry experience, a background in game design or programming, and a passion for collaboration and impactful game creation. The position offers a hybrid remote work arrangement across various studio locations.

Job Details

IO Interactive is currently looking for a Technical Designer to join Project 007, a brand-new James Bond video game to be developed and published by IOI. Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world's favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story.

What you will do:

  • Implement unique and reusable environmental interactions and items using the scripting tools for our proprietary engine Glacier.
  • Collaborate closely with Level Designers to craft memorable experiences in our James Bond game.
  • Write and maintainin documentation of tech and designs.

Who you are:

  • You have some experience in the AAA games industry as a technical designer
  • You have a working background or education in game design or programming.
  • You take an interest in game design, technical design, UX, and tech.
  • You have a passion for collaborating with a wide range of developers and creating impactful games.

About The Company

IO Interactive is a 25-year old, AAA independent game studio, creators of HITMAN, Kane & Lynch, Mini Ninjas and Freedom Fighters. We are currently working on Project 007, Project Fantasy, and continue to develop Glacier, our award-winning game engine.
